Photos of Panama City Beach Waters 6-20-10

Hey Everyone,

Kyle Odell is staying in 610 Aqua Beachside Resort and he sent me some pictures of the water there. He called me today saying he originally considered canceling but decided he wanted his vacation anyway and he is glad he came. He says the water is clear and the beaches are beautiful and that the media is hyping this up to be worse than what is actually making it to the shore right now.

So, without further blabbing, here are the pictures;

If you have an upcoming trip scheduled, don’t panic!! Come on down, the water is still fine.

    Thank you Jeff & Kyle for sharing these.
    After seeing the photos/videos yesterday taken west (feet) of the Dan Russell Pier with all the “Black” tar balls on the beach, we were seriously considering cancelling as well. It has been something that we find ourselves logging onto the Blue Sun Properities.com blog, multiple times per day. However, Jeff has been wonderful as far as keeping us all so informed. (Thank you Jeff)
    We still have several weeks before our arrival so were hoping for the best!! Keeping our fingers crossed. Thanks again for sharing this.

      Thanks Linda for keeping an open perspective on what is happening. I don’t think now is the time to panic, maybe later, but definitely not now…

    Kyle is absolutely correct. We spent all day at the beach. The water looks great, everyone was out in the water on their floats or swimming. No sign of oil or tar balls anywhere. I watched all the fishing boats, sailboats, people parasailing and riding the banana boats. Everyone is having a great time. My children got here today and can’t wait to hit the beach. Oh, yeah we witnessed a wedding on the beach today as well.
