Just got back from PCB and found small and large tar balls. Fortunately, they didn’t stick to my feet. But far worse are the folks walking up and down the beach in pairs, wearing long pants and shoes, certainly not beach goers. They are getting paid by BP and all they do is walk and drink water(which BP paid for). I found 3 soft ball size tar balls at the waters edge. They were not being collected because the walkers(BP workers) were no where near the water edge. They were up closer to the building line. I did stop 2 national guardsmen patrolling on a 4 wheeler and they claimed that they had found no oil. They were travelling from the Pier down to St. Andrews.
Sad that despite BP’s efforts, all these folks are just taking a paycheck from BP and doing nothing. Is that what America is coming to?
